    1982 Intellivision

After Mattel spun off it's electronics division, many M-Network games were sold under the INTV name. This is one of those games. The basic label often makes people think that this is a very rare game or prototype, but that's not the case.

Adventures of Tron is one of two games made by M-Network and inspired by the Disney movie about a dude trapped in a computer. The object is to move the man (TRON) around the four elevator-linked floors, picking up the 7 data bits. Meanwhile he must avoid the MCP's recognizers, grid bugs, and tanks. He can catch a ride on a solar sailer to avoid some trouble spots. After he captures all of the bits, he can move into the I/O beam, which sends him to the next level. If you didn't see/don't remember the movie, this all probably sounds like gibberish.
