  • Swordquest Waterworld for the Atari 2600 by Atari

    1983 Atari CX2671

The third game in the Swordquest adventure was released only to Atari Club members. It never made it to the retail shelves. As a result, this game is a very rare find. Again, your goal is to find the hidden clues and solve the puzzle that is supposed to allow you to reach the end of the quest and receive the Sword of Ultimate Sorcery. There were supposed to be 4 games for everyone to plod through, but only 3 made it out (Earthworld, Fireworld, Waterworld) before the big crash. You could win $25,000 for completing each Swordquest game, and there was even a $50,000 prize set up for solving the puzzle that involved all 4 games, but Airworld was just too late....

First prize was a solid gold crown Adorned with rare gems.
