  • Swordquest Fireworld for the Atari 2600 by Atari

    1982 Atari CX2657

In the second chapter of the Swordquest adventure, your goal is to find the hidden clues and solve the puzzle that is supposed to allow you to reach the end of the quest and receive the Sword of Ultimate Sorcery (sound familiar?). You have to collect certain objects and have them in the correct rooms. You're supposed to read the comic that comes with the game before you start, so be sure to read the comic for the clues! There were supposed to be 4 games for everyone to plod through, but only 3 made it out (Earthworld, Fireworld, Waterworld) before the big crash. You could win $25,000 for completing each Swordquest game, and there was even a $50,000 prize set up for solving the puzzle that involved all 4 games, but Airworld was just too late....

First prize was a Gold and Platinum Chalice, studded with rare gems, but you've just missed the deadline for entry.
