    1982 Atari CX2660

Star Raiders was sold with the Video Touch Pad, which you plugged in along with your joystick to help you navigate this complex game. The touch pad came with an overlay that had options like, shields, map, and hyperwarp. Functionally, the touch pad was the same as a keyboard controller, and interestingly, no further games were created which took advantage of this new peripheral. The game is a first-person space game, though its more complicated than the other games in this genre. The object is to kill all of the Krylons before they destroy your base.
