In Ikari Warriors, two players can work together as commandos making their way through hostile territory. Each player has a gun and grenades to kill the enemies with. Ammuntion must be replenished by finding new supplies. If a player finds a tank, he can jump into it and drive it around shooting the big guns until it gets hit and must get back on his feet. The instruction manual recommends, "Run over enemy soldiers with your tank. It saves ammo!"
