The object of Defender II (originally released as Stargate) is to shoot the bad guys and rescue the people being snatched. It's quite simply a newer and better version of Defender. This one utilizes 2 joysticks, so that you can leave the smartbombing to your other hand or a friend. Other new features include stargates, which teleport you to a person being kidnapped, and the ability to become invisible for a few seconds. The only difference between Defender II and Stargate is the into screen.
