Atari Video Cube for the Atari 2600 by Atari
1982 Atari CX2670
Atari Video Cube, later renamed Rubik's Cube, is a video representation of the famous Rubik's Cube puzzle. Since the video version is in 2d, you can only see one side of the cube at any time. To "turn the puzzle", move the little guy (Hubie) to the square you want moved. Press the button, then move him where you want that square to end up. Moving off the edge will rotate the cube. Only certain moves are legal here if you think about the physical cube. Try to finish in as few moves as possible or in as little time as possible. There are a number of variations here, including invisible squares, and the ability to watch the computer solve the puzzle.
