Space Shuttle is best described as an early flight simulator, and as a result is one of the most complicated games ever made for the Atari 2600. The game originally came with a thick flight manual and overlay for the game system. It uses all of the buttons on the 2600 to operate different systems. The goal is to launch the ship, do some maneuvers, and land safely. But first you must grasp some concepts of orbital mechanics. Two patches were available for different scores in this game. Don't expect to pick this one up in five minutes.
