    1985 Activision AZ-108-04

Inspired by the hit movie, Ghostbusters is an involved game, but it's not too hard to figure out.You start with $5000 with which you can buy various products: ghost bait, a ghost vacuum, an image intensifier, and ghost traps. Then you're off to catch ghosts (you have to move a difficulty switch to get out of the purchasing screen). A map of the city shows you where a ghost problem is. Drive to the site, vacuuming ghosts along the way. When you get there, drop a trap, shoot your particle beams to keep the ghost from escaping, then open the trap and capture him. As the game progresses, the ghosts on the map move faster and faster toward Zuul and the PK energy increases as they converge. If a Marshmellow Man begins to form, drop some bait before he demolishes a building. If you don't amass at least $10,000 before the PK energy reaches 9999, then the game ends. If you do have $10,000, you can try to sneak past the Marshmellow Man and defeat Zuul, then start over with your wad of cash.
