  • Dolphin for the Atari 2600 by Activision

    1983 Activision AX-024

Pilot your dolphin through the sea and collect as many points as you can while avoiding the ravenous squid. Good and bad waves will slow down or speed up both the squid and the dolphin. You'll need to find the openings in the seahorse schools or else you'll be slowed down and eaten. Listen to your sonar signals to figure out where the openings are in advance. When a seagull flies overhead, jump up and touch it. It will bestow magical powers that will allow you do beat up the squid. Two patches were available for this game. The first, "Friends of Dolphins," could be earned with 80,000 points. If you reached a much higher score, the numbers would be replaced by a secret word, and would be your ticket into the "Secret Society of Dolphins."
